OFFERING OF FLOWERS
These flowers, fresh, fragrant and colourful, I offer at the lotus-like feet of the Noble One. With flowers the Buddha / Dhamma / Sangha I revere; and through this merit may there be release. Even as these flowers must fade, so does my body pass to decay.
OFFERING OF LIGHTS
With candle lights brightly shining, abolishing gloom, I revere the Enlightened One, the Light of the Three Worlds, who dispels the darkness [of ignorance].
OFFERING OF INCENSE
With perfumed incense I revere the Exalted One, worthy of profound admiration and offerings.
