Ajahn Sao

Venerable Phra Ajahn Sao Kantasilo Maha Thera (1861–1942) was a Bhikkhu [monk] in the Thai Forest Tradition. He established the Thai Forest Tradition with his pupil Venerable Ajahn Mun (1870–1949). The Thai Forest tradition has spread to other countries.
